Edgar Miguel Abreu

Dominican-American tenor Edgar Miguel Abréu has appeared numerous times on stage throughout Florida since 2012, most recently as the Tenor Soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with The Civic Chorale of Greater Miami. Opera credits include Cardona in Amadeo Vives’ Doña Francisquita, 1st Jew in Strauss’s Salome, Bacchus in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, Flavio in Bellini’ Norma and Rally Leader in Opera Fusion’s World Premiere of Not In My Town, where the Palm Beach Arts Paper wrote, “…as the rally leader of the LGBT rally, tenor Edgar Miguel Abréu also unleashed serious vocal power.”

Alberto Bade

Maestro Alberto Bade has established an outstanding reputation nationally and internationally in recent years. His charismatic stage presence and powerful interpretations of a wide repertoire have elevated him to a place of privilege within the musical community. Recognized for his dynamic style, drive, and musical passion, Maestro Bade continues to attract international attention as one of the most outstanding young conductors working in the United States today.

Maestro Bade currently works as Professor and Orchestral Director at Miami Dade College (MDC) where he serves as director of the MDC Symphony Orchestra. A dedicated advocate of music education, Maestro Bade is regularly a guest clinician and conductor for local and international youth orchestras, as well as the founder of the MDC Honors Festival. As an international performer, Maestro Bade has been a frequent guest conductor in orchestras in Madrid, Berlin, Munich, Prague, and St. Petersburg, Russia...



Lindsey Blair

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana Lindsey Blair began playing guitar at 10 years of age. By the age of 11, he was already playing for paying gigs. By the age of 13, his band Blues Underground, was featured on local Indianapolis news programs on channel 4 and 13. After graduating from high school, Lindsey moved to Miami to attend classes at The University of Miami where he studied jazz guitar with teachers Randall Dollahon, Peter Harris and Stan Samole.

The year after Lindsey graduated from the University Of Miami he was hired for a national tour with jazz trumpet legend Maynard Ferguson. After the tour with Maynard. Federico Bonacossa

Dr. Federico Bonacossa is a composer and classical guitarist based in Miami, Florida. He is Assistant Professor of Music History and Music Theory at Florida International University. He studied classical guitar at the Conservatorio Statale G. P. da Palestrina in Italy before moving to the U.S. in 2001. He holds a master’s degree from the Peabody Conservatory, a doctorate from the University of Miami in classical guitar performance, and a master’s degree from FIU in composition and electronic music.

His recent work as a composer explores various forms of interaction between live performers and the computer, the relationship between pitch and rhythm, and the transcription of spontaneous vocal gestures with the aid of the computer. Ed Calle

Saxophonist Ed Calle is known for his extraordinary ability to play bebop, Latin and contemporary jazz, and pop. Born in Caracas of Spanish parents, it was obvious from the start that he was a natural player and now, Calle can be heard on hundreds of recordings both as a sideman and soloist.

He appears on Grammy-award-winning albums by Frank Sinatra, Vicky Carr, Arturo Sandoval, and Jon Secada, as well as on numerous television and motion picture soundtracks. He also has recorded and performed around the world with such artists as Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Michael Bolton, Bob James, Bobby Caldwell, Rhianna, Extreme, and Vanessa Williams.

Eric Chacón

Eric Chacón is a Venezuelan musician, began his musical studies at the age of 8 years in the nucleus La Rinconada within the system of children's and youth orchestras of Venezuela, in that period from 1993 to 1997 is part of the groups of that nucleus in addition to study flute, piano, Saxofon, choir, orchestral practice and theory and solfeggio, In 1998, he joined the Venezuelan National Children's Orchestra through a national competition, where he remained from his childhood until 2003, when he became the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra. Rances Colón

From Venezuela to Miami, Mr. Ranses Colón is one of the most sought-after bassists in the world, both for live performances and for recordings. He plays all the electric basses, 4, 5 , 6 and 7 string, including fretless, as well as the baby bass and upright acoustic bass.

He has recorded works with artists such as Ricky Martin, Placido Domingo, Juan Gabriel, Nestor Torres, Enrique Chia, Celia Cruz (band leader), Juan luis guerra and Oscar de Leon. The album "Tribute to Lecuona", with Enrique Chia, was nominated for a Grammy in 2002 are highly successful. He is the premier bassist for tango performers who come to the Miami area to entertain. Ranses performing Chamber, Latin and Folklore music. He has recorded and performed in almost every style of contemporary music, from Rap to Classical, Jazz to Latin, Danzon to Reggae. Ensemble 7/4, José Arvelo

José Arvelo began his musical studies in Portuguesa, Venezuela at a music education center of El Sistema. Years later, he moved to the city of Barquisimeto, where he obtained a university diploma in Music Education. He was a member of the trumpet section of the Lara Symphony Orchestra, the Youth Orchestra of Lara, and the Lara Brass Ensemble. Arvelo has studied with professors Jonás Rodríguez, Leonardo Méndez, Gary Núñez, Alfredo D’addona, Giancarlo Castro, Pacho Flores and Allen Vizzutti.

He has also taken courses offered by El Sistema and taught by the Empire Brass Quintet, the Sonus Brass Quintet, the Canadian Brass Quintet, the Los Angeles Brass Quintet, Thomas Clamor, Max Sommerhalder, Fernando Ciancio, and Rafael Zambrano. Arvelo is now pursuing postgraduate studies in instrumental performance at the Universidad Simón Bolívar with maestro Pacho Flores. He also carries out an important work as educator at El Sistema’s music centers in Lara.



Ensemble 7/4, Tarcisio Barreto

Tarcisio Barreto is a young trumpet player from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He studied at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of music, an educational center that is part of the System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Lara. He is a member of the Lara Brass Ensemble, with which he has toured nationally and internationally (Portugal in 2008 and Spain in 2009).

Barreto began his trumpet studies under the guidance of Gary Nuñez and Alfredo D’Addona. In 2010, he entered the Latin American Trumpet Academy, where he studied with Giancarlo Castro and Francisco “Pacho” Flores. The Venezuelan musician has attended trumpet courses at Epsival in 2010 and the Spanish Brass Festival in 2011, where he studied with Franc Pulcini, Pierre Dutot, Thomas Gansch, Thierry Caens, Jean François Dion, Guillaume Couloumy, Juanjo Serna, Carlos Beneto, and Luis González.



Ensemble 7/4, Carlos Bianculli

Carlos Bianculli began his music studies at the age of four at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music in Venezuela. Three years later, he began to study trumpet under the guidance of Gary Nuñez. He has also has studied with maestros Alfredo D’addona, Tomas Medina, Gaudy Sánchez, Max Sommerhalder, Fernando ciancio, Luis Gonzales, Jairo Hernández, Giancarlo Castro, Francisco Flores, Allen Vizzutti, Eric Aubier and Brian Neal. Bianculli was a member of the trumpet section of the Youth Orchestra of Lara, the Lara Symphony Orchestra and the Teresa Carreño Symphony Orchestra, with which he toured Europe and Asia.

At the age of 18, he began his conducting studies (both choral and orchestral) with maestros Miguel Monrroy, Pablo Castellanos, Libia Gómez, and Thomas Clamor, and with professor Teresa Hernández in the city of Caracas. In November 2014, he won third place in the youth category at the First Eric Aubier Latin American Trumpet Competition, held in Medellín, Colombia.



Ensemble 7/4, Gabriel Gutiérrez

The young trumpeter, born in Venezuela to a family of musicians, began his musical studies at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music in Barquisimeto with professors Gary Núñez and Alfredo D’addona. He has been a member of the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Venezuela since he was eleven years old, when he joined the Doralisa de Medina Children‘s Orchestra. Later, in 2002, Gutiérrez joined the Youth Orchestra of Lara. He is a founding member of the Lara Brass Ensemble, with which he performed nationally and internationally (Portugal in 2008 and Spain in 2009).

He has attended trumpet courses at festivals such as the Spanish Brass Festival —in the city of Alzira in 2011—, the Italian Brass Week in 2012, and the Schagerl Brass Festival in 2014 with maestros of international stature such as Allen Vizzutti, “Pacho” Flores...



Ensemble 7/4, José Montes

José Montes was born in Acarigua, Venezuela and began his musical studies at the age of 8 at the Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Acarigua, with maestro Roberto Zambrano. Montes began to study the double bass under maestros Rubén Villegas, Henry Zambrano, Gabriel Torres, and William Omaña. He participated in the International Youth Orchestra Festival held in Barquisimeto in 2008. He played Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 under maestro Gustavo Dudamel and has also performed under Diego Matheus (2011) at the VI Festival de Juventudes held in Caracas.

He is a member of the double bass section of the Youth Orchestra of Lara and the Lara Symphony Orchestra. This young musician holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and is continuing his double bass studies at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music. He serves as a double bass teacher at the Núcleo of Santa Rosa (an El Sistema music education center), where the orchestral initiation program ‘Compotas’ was established.



Ensemble 7/4, Miguel Pagua

Pagua was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He began his musical studies when he was only one-and-a-half years old. In 1995, he joined the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music and, the following year, he began to study percussion with Professor Alejandro Briceño, and continued later with maestro Antonio González. In 1998, he joined, as a percussionist, El Sistema’s Doralisa de Medina Children’s Orchestra, where he played under the baton of maestros Héctor Gutiérrez and Luis Orlando Giménez. In 2000, he became a founding member of the Little Mozarts Children‘s Orchestra. Then, he joined various ensembles such as the Youth Orchestra of Lara, with which he toured Venezuela, Portugal (2008) and Spain (2009).

Ensemble 7/4, Moisés Rojas

Moisés Rojas was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He began to study cuatro at the age of 6 at the Cuatros y más Cuatros Academy, with professor Amado López.

A year later, Rojas started taking violin lessons at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music in Barquisimeto, under the guidance of Eliana Campins, Savino D’addona, and Gerónimo Istúriz. His first orchestral experience was as a member of the Doralisa de Medina Children‘s Orchestra. Then, he was one of the founding members of the Franco Medina Children’s Orchestra and also joined the Amadeus Youth Chamber Orchestra. Rojas is a member of the second violin section of the Youth Orchestra of Lara since he was fifteen years old. He also serves as a violin teacher for the System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras of Lara. The Venezuelan musician is now studying cuatro with maestro Henry Linárez.



Manuel Gámez

Manuel Gámez pianist- arranger- composer with a long career in the music business, his album 'Deep' has received a 2022 Latin Grammy nomination. His training began under the tutelage of maestro Gerry Weil studying for more than 11 years in his native Venezuela, in 2007 he was part of the Big Band jazz Simón Bolívar under the direction of the teacher Andres Briceños. In 2011 he moved to the United States to continue his musical work and his studies as a pianist. Since 2011 he has accompanied countless artists such as: Il Volo, Cachao All Star Band, Eddie Sanriago, Tito Rojas, Lalo Rodriguez, El Puma José Luis Rodriguez, The Morillos, Kiara, Karina, Diveana, Elisa Regó, Guillermo Dávila, among many others. Currently he is a pianist of 3 recognized Big Jazz Bands in Miami.Gámez is a very active pianist and has produced 4 albums for the artists: Gus Ormo (symphonic pop album), Wilmer Bolivar (Christian album), Mariana Risquez (pop album), Ángel Lucena (bolero album). Moreover, he is working as an arranger in the production of singer Mariela Mejia.



José Gregorio Hernández

Jose Gregorio, originally from Venezuela, started playing professionally at the age of eleven with an all kids Gaita band. After performing throughout South America Jose moved to Chicago in 1989 and settled in Miami in 1999. He has become widely known as an upcoming percussionist in Latin jazz, rock, funk, pop, salsa, folkloric and afro Caribbean music as well as a sought after clinician.

Jose has performed, recorded and toured around the world with many worldwide artists such as: Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), Engelbert Humperdinck, Cece Pennington, Count Basie Orquestra, Arturo Sandoval, Herbie Hancock, Shakira, Michael Sembello, Paquito D’Rivera, Gloria Estefan, Franco de Vita, Julio Flores, Luis Enrique, Nestor Torres, Guaco, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ricardo Montaner, Danilo Perez, Los Guaracheros de Oriente...



Adolfo Herrera

Caracas, 1975. Studied with maestro Andrés Briceño.He has participated in over 70 commercial albums asdrummer and/or percussionist and among them 5 resulted in Latin Grammy nominations. Musician, drummer, musical director and producer. He has a degree in social communication from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He studied at Berklee College of Music from 2002 to 2004. He resides in Miami.

His solo artistic project has “SOLEDAD” as it’s first single and the album “IRREPETIBLE” is to be released Fall 21 to Spring 22. Adolfo is the drummer of the Miami Symphony Orchestra and percussion player for De La Paz Ensemble where uses a hybrid set (where he incorporates drumset and percussion timbres) , he is part of RJO (Raices Jazz Orchestra led by Tony Succar and Pablo Gil) recently released PBS special “ROOTS of Latin Jazz”...



Robyn Lamp

Robyn Marie Lamp, a powerful Florida-based soprano, wasn’t quiet for too long during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. Virtual, outdoor, and socially distanced concerts, street stages, livestreams —even a “porch concert” in her neighborhood —are among the ways she lifted her voice, and spirits, remaining connected with her craft and audiences.

Her 2021-22 season includes singing the title role in Toscafor Gulfshore Opera, Mozart’s Requiem with the Palm Beach Symphony and Master Chorale of South Florida, and Beethoven's Egmontwith Orchestra Miami. The 2019-20 season sent her to Boston, where she appeared as Clotilde and covered the title role in Bellini’s Normawith Boston Lyric Opera as an Emerging Artist. Another highlight was appearing as the soprano soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra at the Broward Center. Henry Linarez

Henry Linarez is a Venezuelan Cuatro musician, born in 1980 in Barquisimeto, Midwestern Venezuela. Linarez, began his relationship with music at the age of three and received musical instruction from notable musicians and teachers from his birthplace. Besides the Cuatro, Linarez also studied Guitar, Piano, harmony and composition. As part of his musical formation, he travelled to various regions in Venezuela to learn about the different genres and traditional expressions that characterized each area. His comprehensive formation makes him a solid performer of traditional Venezuelan folk music.

Daniela Padrón

Daniela Padrón, Venezuelan-American violinist, started her musical development at the age of 3, in the Escuela Experimental de Música Manuel Alberto López in Caracas, Venezuela. The nonprofit organization Fundación Mozarteum awarded Ms. Padrón with a scholarship to further her studies under the renowned French violinist, Virginie Robillard. In 2005, she received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, under the guidance of Maestros Jose Elias Zapata, Ma. Fernanda Montero, and Virginie Robillard. In 2000 Daniela participated in Meadowmount School of Music Summer Academy, in the state of New York, where she had the opportunity to receive classes with the renowned Sally Thomas (The Julliard School). She received top prizes in the “Escuela de Música Olga López” Violin Competition and the Maurice Hasson National Violin Competition, in Venezuela in both 2001 and 2003. Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Radiushina is described as a “virtuoso whose playing is distinguished by rare depth of interpretation and understanding of style” and a “pianist with enormous temperament and maturity.” Marina made her debut with the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Valery Gergiev in February 2012 appearing at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and Theatre Des Champs-Elysee in Paris. Gordon Roberts

Gordon Roberts is originally from Pennsylvania, but has made South Florida his home since 1985. He holds a B.S. degree in Music Education from Wilkes University and B.M. and M.S. degrees in Conducting and Piano from the Juilliard School. Roberts was part of The Lincoln Center Program – touring and giving many solo concerts as well as guest soloist with numerous orchestras throughout the United States.

He is winner of the National Baldwin Piano Recording Competition and the recipient of the prestigious Connell Award from Northeastern Pennsylvania. With “a special ability to present touching interpretations” (El Norte), Brazilian pianist Ronaldo Rolim is a prominent figure among an emerging generation of outstanding musicians. Acclaimed for his “consummate elegance” (New York Concert Review) and “mastery of phrasing, agogic accents, and dynamics” (Oberbaselbieter Zeitung), he has performed extensively over four continents, in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Zurich’s Tonhalle, London’s Wigmore Hall, the Great Hall of the Liszt Academy in Budapest, and Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts. Thomas Schuster

Thomas Schuster is currently the director of music and organist at Epiphany Catholic Church in Miami, FL, where he oversees a large music program with several choirs. Their repertoire is focused on restoring the rich heritage of sacred music from Gregorian chant to the present, including regular performances of orchestral Masses by Mozart, Schubert, Rheinberger, and others. He also directs the annual concert series, Music at Epiphany, and is the founder / artistic director of the Miami International Organ Competition, recognized as one of the major events in the United States for young organists.

Mr. Schuster received his Masters degree from the organ studio of Robert Bates at the University of Houston, and also holds a Bachelor of Music degree, Summa cum Laude, from Wayne State University in Detroit, with a double major in piano (Pauline Martin) and organ (Ray Ferguson) performance. Julian Schwarz

Julian Schwarz was born to a multigenerational musical family in 1991. Heralded from a young age as a cellist destined to rank among the greatest of the 21st century, Julian’s powerful tone, effortless virtuosity, and extraordinarily large color palette are hallmarks of his style.

After making his concerto debut at the age of 11 with the Seattle Symphony and his father Gerard Schwarz on the podium, he made his US touring debut with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2010. Adolfo Vidal

Vidal has been hailed as an "exciting and compelling pianist” and his playing praised for his “musical and effortless virtuosity.” Selected performances have been broadcast on Radio and TV, such as WQXR New York and WLRN Public Television in Miami. He has pursued an international career as a pianist, performing solo, chamber, with orchestra, and Festivals in North and South America and Europe. Adolfo Vidal began piano studies in his native Venezuela and continued in the United States and Canada under the instruction of Andre Laplante, Marietta Orlov, Kemal Gekic and JB Floyd.

Vidal started music lessons at the age of five under ‘El Sistema’ (Venezuelan Youth Orchestras and Instrumental Training Program System) with French pianist Gerard Bourgogne.
