Dominican-American tenor Edgar Miguel Abréu has appeared numerous times on stage throughout Florida since 2012, most recently as the Tenor Soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with The Civic Chorale of Greater Miami. Opera credits include Cardona in Amadeo Vives’ Doña Francisquita, 1st Jew in Strauss’s Salome, Bacchus in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, Flavio in Bellini’ Norma and Rally Leader in Opera Fusion’s World Premiere of Not In My Town, where the Palm Beach Arts Paper wrote, “…as the rally leader of the LGBT rally, tenor Edgar Miguel Abréu also unleashed serious vocal power.”

On the concert stage, Mr. Abréu has performed in Beethoven’s Choral Festival, Handel’s Messiah, Gounod’s St. Cecilia Mass, Mozart’s Missa Solemnis,and Castelnuovo Tedesco’s Romancero Gitano and as the Shepherd in Ottorino Respighi’s Lauda per la Natività del Signore.
